Applications and Interviews:
Applicants must be graduates of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and they must be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana.
Tulane University Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) through the ERAS. All PGY-1 applicants must be entered in the NRMP and ERAS programs. You can apply to the NRMP and the ERAS through your medical school dean's office. All IMG's must apply to the NRMP and the ERAS through the ECFMG.
We recommend that all applicants take and pass USMLE parts I & II. All applicants must graduate medical school by June 30, 2004. All IMG's must meet all of the ECFMG requirements and be on J-1 Visa or be a permanent resident.
